Hi all! Guess you're here cause of the message sent out recently. So like I said, UChan and I were planning to have a gathering soon to celebrate Deng's birthday and etcetera plus plus plus. We need to think of

Date and time
Venue

I suppose your exams are coming soon right? Ok la. Poly/jc's exams all coming soon. But anyway that aside, afterall we only need one day/one night. Was thinking to have it sometime in August.... UChan suggested having a barbeque at some person's condo.. but of cuz we'd like your opinion(s) on this too.

AND ALTHOUGH OUR TAGBOARD IS LARGELY SPAMMED, it is still usable! Let's not waste resources la huh. Oh or maybe someone's nice enough to create a Facebook event page. Just dont add Deng Lao Shi into it.... yet.

So maybe we'd have a dinner!
Maybe a barbecue.
Maybe we'd all go SWIMMING! I'm kidding.
Maybe we can go...

Just think of something interesting and relevant. MAYBE WE CAN JUST ALL SIT AT SOME RANDOM VOID DECK AND SNIFF GLUE!!!

So those that are not helping the guys with buying BBQ stuff from ntuc, you can meet up among yourselves and come around 4pm like that. Do take note of the timing of the shuttle buses in the website above.

Please bring about $10 to pay for the food and drinks.
We will be checking out of the chalet at about 10.30am the next day.

I am currently flooded with nostalgia becuase I went to read all our old posts. what a long way we've come from!

aw man, I really miss the times where we were lovely and innocent(not quite eh?)

even the times where were weren't so untied, not so cooperative, because without those moments we would never have come to where we are now.

I can honestly say many of my treasured memories are with you guys.

even though we unsuccessfully tried to plan for a gathering from the end of last year to this year...

we can still have a kickass chalet the end year!

after the dreaded Os and Ns, of course.

I know everyone like shit out stressed and I'm probably the only one not mugging like a crazy Singaporean kiddo, but that's just me.

anyway about the chalet. my dad can't pay no more! anyway if you didn't already know he's in Africa hahahaha to work.

but if you want my mum can help us book, i guess. but she's going overseas (without me!) in Dec. wait the chalet should be in Nov right. uhh I dunno lah haha.

Hi all! I'm back again.

So, bout the gathering, the date is set. It's on the 29th of December, which is tomorrow, Monday!

The venue is The Cathay.

Meeting time is 6pm, at Dhoby Ghaut MRT station.

Dress code is formal! We're having dinner, yo! Girls, come in your dresses. Boys, come in your tux-es! WAHAHAHA.

I'll be reserving a table later in the afternoon, probably for 10-20 people, which is why it's important to know how many people are going!

And don't worry bout the price, a set dinner usually doesnt cost over 15 bucks, but it depends on what you order, really.

the nearest mrt is EUNOS station
u might wan to take a mrt to eunos then change to a bus which can bring u to parkway parade
if i am not wrong there is an underground passage leading to the east coast park.

hello everybody! mid-year finish liao hor, all got good results right, haha. dont care about it la, its holiday soon, lets enjoy it. so im here to update u about the gathering.

the gathering had set now. its on 26-27 may at east coast park. i had book the BBQ pit there, the pit number is 32C. so the bbq will be on 26 may.
now the bbq pit had settle, so shall we proceed on to buy the food to bbq. suggest what food u all want, so we can go check it up. and please pay some money for the food also.
plaease make all the suggestions faster, as fast as possible, cause its not very far from the bbq liao.

u all want BBQ on the first week of holiday, 26 may, 27 may. its monday and tuesday. the place is other at east coast or sentosa, since pasir ris we went last year, so dont go there again this year la. u all can vote for sentosa or east coast park if u want to go.
the BBQ can start at around 6pm then eat and finish. after BBQ we can have some night activities, and not sleeping, then next morning can watch sunrise. those cannot stay can go home la, can stay ones then stay. next morning then can go back home liao.
we can make a banner write,"2E6'07 WELCOME BACK" the put beside the BBQ pit. before bbq, can say all the people name out, and they they walk through the banner like star like that. if u all dont get it then ask me.
if u all want then say earlier then i can get into action.

wow. it was only what, 5 months ago when my parents were driving home from the much dreaded sec 2 streaming talk. and we were talking. then we talk talk talk then we got on the subject of class chalet. then my dad offered to sponser the cost of the chalet. i remember being so excited.

"you very rich ah. you really going to sponser?"

"daddy my classmates are going to love you."

;D i told the class. we booked the chalet. we bought food. we cooked food. we slept on the floor. or on the beds. we cycled. we swam. we talked. we played. we laughed. we watched miss usa. we played mahjong(haha junjie!) we played cards. we exposed secrets to teachers. we played truth or dare. we took care of my cousin(well the 10 daddys anyway.) we walked to downtown east. we gossiped.(a lot!) we talked dirty. we spent time together.

we had a blast.

and i'll never forget the times, those glorious times spent together with esix.

Y'know, a few nights ago I was just thinking about how there was a flying cockroach in our classroom once during Geog, and all the girls fled to their chairs, while Huafei went around chasing it with a broom. And it dropped to the ground and UChan picked it up...

And... I don't know, it's weird. It's one of the funniest moments but yet it's so easy to forget. We're ushering 2008 into our lives, in just a few hours, a thousand minutes, a million seconds. 2007 has come and gone, a very special year in our lives that will never come back. It's just so once-in-a-lifetime kinda thing. Just wanted to let you guys and girls know that you've all made such a change in my life. I know we've all perhaps made a little change in the teachers' lives too. Remember our party? Oooh yeah.

How to Play Mafia

The game of Mafia is about convincing others, about being able to lie believably, and about being able to figure out if other people are lying. It will reveal a lot about players to each other, and works best if the players know a little bit about each other first. It is tremendous fun if the players have a sense of humor.

The setting is a once peaceful town which has been invaded by the dark forces of corruption - the Mafia.

The Mafia's sole purpose is to murder the productive citizens in their bed. They have free reign of the town at night, but by day they appear to be normal citizens.

As a response to these terrible events, the townspeople have hired an Inspector, whose job is to remain disguised while attempting to root our the members of the Mafia.

Game Rules

Game Setup

The game of Mafia is played by an odd number of people. Players are either townspeople or Mafia. In addition, one of the townspeople is the Inspector. Who plays what is determined at random. One method for determining who is who is to use cards: joker cards for the mafia, normal(3 of spades, 7 of hearts) cards for townspeople, and the king of hearts for the inspector. Players may not show their cards to others.

Starting with 3 Mafia is generally recommended.

Order of Play

The game takes place over the duration of several "days" and "nights". Play begins at the start of the first "day", and proceeds as follows:

Everyone discusses who might be in the Mafia. Eventually, a vote is called and there are 3 suspects. Each of them get to make a final statement. Everyone votes and the first person thus removed from play becomes the Moderator
Night falls. Everyone goes to sleep (by closing their eyes).
The Moderator tells the members of the Mafia to open their eyes. The members of the Mafia then select someone they will murder, by pointing at people until they all agree on one. The Mafia then close their eyes.
The Moderator tells the Inspector to open his eyes. This happens even if the Inspector has been killed, or run out of town. The Inspector then points at a suspect. The Moderator nods "yes" if that person in the Mafia, or "no" if they are innocent. The Inspector then closes his eyes.
The Moderator announces the coming of the morning, and the name of the luckless victim. Embelishments on the method of death are fun here (Bob was shot seven times, stabbed three times and drowned in the river. This is the worst case of suicide I've ever seen).
The townspeople, realizing that their previous council did not root out all the evil, return to step one and play proceeds from there.

Winning Conditions

The game is over when:

All of the Mafia have been eliminated. The townspeople win
There are an equal number of townspeople and Mafia at the end of a "day". The Mafia wins

Play Hints

Calling a Vote

During the day, the townspeople get to vote on who to run out of town. At any point during the discussion, someone can call a vote by saying "I vote So-and-So is a Mafia and should be run out of town." If more than half the living players agree, then the elected person is unceremoniously removed from the game. There should always be an odd number of players during the day, so a vote will not end in a deadlock. Voting and debated may become heated. That's where the fun lies!

The First Day

During the first day, members of the Mafia have no information about who's in the Mafia or not. The person to get voted out is pretty random, so it's up to everyone to make a good, convincing first statement that will result in them not being voted out.

Once the first night falls, though, the Mafia will be able to act in a much mure unified way.

The Inspector

The Inspector has no way to prove their role, since players are not allowed to show their cards to one another to prove they are what they say there are. Admitting one is the Inspector can result in a swift death in the middle of the night, unless only one member of the Mafia was left alive.

Depressed over the last day with 2e6. Although i wish we do not nid to be seperated into different classes, we still need to move on. i look back into the memories tat we have gone through togther. I smile. I cried. No matter how far we could go, we must always put this memories in our heart and perserve it. I see darkness in front of me, no e6 to lead me on, to bring me to my happiness. However, i see it as an opportunity to train my independency. And it suddenly hit me like a wave, that we're never gonna be together as a class anymore. Sure, of course there are more enthusiastic people in the class than some others, but nevertheless each one of us is what makes up the few letters, Esixism, and what it represents.

Perhaps it's because I've been spending too much time with basketball and the interclass games that I've been leaving most of the things behind. I might not be able to attend the gathering @ the cafe tomorrow, but there's always the chalet.

I'm sorry.

Things might improve in the different classes that we're streamed to next year, but for some it might deprove. Regardless whether we remember this class of 2007 or not, it doesn't matter.

But it's what we've been through that matters.

hello people!

since tomorrow's the last day of school,this is a reminder for EVERYONE TO BRING THE CLASS TEES TOMORROW.DIE DIE MUST BRING!

and i know there are some of us who seem reluctant to go for the cafe thingy tmr because it doesnt seem that good an idea?anyway,just bring class tee lah.anything we can discuss it tmr(:

two years have passed just like that.we saw ourselves grow from the cold,unfriendly and arrogant oneesix to the enthusiastic,lively and fun bunch of twoesix.and also,we have our lovely deng da niang for our form teacher this year!

look at us.look at the yearbook,class photos,whatever.we have changed in our appearances,characters,personalities.and i am sure we can tell we have changed for the better!

remember the first half of the year where we pretty slacked alot and also due to some reasons during lessons,so our MYEs results were not up to standard.come the next half of the year,after which deng da niang and the other teachers talked to us to buck up in our grades,we worked as a class to push all our grades up.

we stopped fooling around in class and pay full attention during lessons,but obviously we still had our funny moments while being serious.so yah,our class improved as a whole and we realised that esix is actually a fun bunch of people,going high everyday.

and the class spirit is worth commending.we always seem unwilling,but there is this esixism within us which pulls us altogether,to work things out together and eventually succeed.remember how the whole class put in loads of effort for the mini concert on teachers' day?we were initially disappointed during the auditions but we turned our failure to a huge success,and it was a big testament to our unity.

remember the cheer competition earlier on too?compared with last year,we were more united this year.all of us were more willing to scream the cheers out loud.we even took time to create our very own esix cheer,and brought along drums and a class flag!

and the creative king programme which we were on tv?we were there because we had the spirit!we were enthusiastic!

hahahaha,and loads of other stuffs which makes me love this class so much.

and the fun moments in class where we will ask teachers questions out of the blue,sing songs for them and well,surprise them!we're good self-entertainers,eh?

i really dont know how to describe my love for esix.i guess the four-letter word doesnt really suffice.but its the best i can describe it already.

you taught me what true friendships are (cause no matter how much we bitch/gossip or fall out with each other,we still get pulled back by the esixism magnet and end up as friends again or even better)
you taught me what is enthusiasm,
you taught me what is cheering teachers up like.

if i had never been in this class,god knows how i would have turned out now.

i hope we can say the esix cheer one last time tomorrow.
as a tribute to the legacy of esix.

How do i even start this post.

Today is the 22nd of October. We had our final streaming talk today, rankings were posted up for everyone to see and we have to start choose our subject combinations.
It's just so fast.

I can just remember during the holidays when dunno who announced on the class tag board that our form teacher would be ms tan chye i. Everyone was like wondering who the hell she is la and whether if she will be an even worse teacher than mr john yeo.

But look at us now. I don't think i need to list out everything we've achieved as a class. I don't even think how i'm gna start. Sec2 camp, learning carnival, exams, sentosa, 2.4km run and so much more.

I can't continue anymore, will edit.

And guess what, ms tan hasn't scolded us for the whole of this year.

miss clarity cafe.
i guess not much people know about this cafe.
the cafe is located opposite the national library, & i can bring you all there.
please prepare your moneyyy, cos' the food are $7 and above.
